Almost always, the Japanese dubs of anime series are superior to other language dubs. But the following anime are the exceptions - these English dubs are as good as, or better than, the Japanese dubs:
- Hellsing: Ultimate
- Castlevania
- Death Note
- Rurouni Kenshin (1996)
- Legend of the Galactic Heroes (2018 remake)
- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (for the most part)
